I'm considering converting my game to FE due to roblox's new policies regarding FE. However, I'm not sure if doing so will increase or decrease my game's performance.
On the one hand, FE requires you to put a LOT of work on the server. I don't have a good understanding of how powerful servers are.
On the other hand, I've heard that when you turn on FE, the server has to process less less information from all the clients, as none of the changes any client makes are replicated.
What do you guys think?

Depends. You can do it in many different ways. But as always, I seriously recommend using FE for everything and anything. Simply no way I can see a good game being made without FE being worth the work.
